Vedastro combines Vedic chart calculations, AI-assisted interpretation and, when you choose, answers from people in a relationship. Each tells a different part of the story.
Look for the calculation, the interpretation and the unanswered questions separately.
For a Kundli, the date, time and selected place are used to calculate planetary positions with Skyfield and the JPL DE421 ephemeris. The chart uses a Lahiri-based sidereal adjustment and whole-sign houses. An uncertain birth time can change timing-sensitive details.
Vedic interpretations explain chart patterns. AI helps write the explanation and follow-up questions; it does not calculate the planetary positions. These interpretations are not scientifically validated predictions of life events.
Relationship questions use the answers each person chooses to share. A chart cannot establish someone’s honesty, consent, safety or future behavior. Missing answers remain unknown, and a comparison is a prompt for conversation.
New chart reports show eight-factor Guna Milan separately from the legacy Vedastro index. Open “See why” for the scoring convention, available layer breakdown, calculation settings and input confidence. Answer-alignment scores summarize the responses included; they are not probabilities of marriage success.
Kundli matching describes traditional chart factors. A relationship comparison describes the answers available at that moment. Neither can predict whether a marriage will succeed, verify a person’s identity or replace your own judgment.
See the relationship pathsThe three guest reflection answers stay on the open page and are not submitted. Signed-in readings and details you choose to save are connected to your account. The separate premarital workbook has its own sharing choices and 30-day retention.
Chat text and uploaded palm images are processed to produce the AI response. A saved palm report may contain a smaller copy of the image. Review each flow before sharing with a partner; private answers are not automatically added to chat.
Each feature keeps different records. Check the feature and provider before entering another person’s information.

Relevant birth details, answers, messages or images are processed when you request AI-assisted guidance. The fixed conversation workbook and locally calculated research discussion guides are not sent to AI.
The API policy retains data for service purposes or legal requirements and gives no fixed deletion period. An account-specific zero-retention or no-training agreement has not been verified for this notice. Deleting a reading does not recall a processed request.
