## Check the inputs first

A Kundli is calculated from a birth date, time, and place. Before interpreting a report, check that these details are correct. Select the birth city from the place suggestions so the calculation has a location, rather than leaving an unrecognized place name.

If your birth time is unknown, keep that uncertainty explicit. Do not replace an unknown time with noon and then treat timing-sensitive results as exact. You can explore the birth-time rectification tool, but an estimated time remains an estimate.

## Read the report in layers

Start with the report’s summary, then open the chart facts that support it. Notice the difference between a computed position and an interpretation of what that position means. Vedastro uses chart calculations and AI-assisted interpretation; those are distinct steps.

An unfamiliar label is a reason to ask for an explanation. You do not need to memorize every term before finding your way around a report.

## An illustrative reading, with evidence separated

Chart fact: the report lists a planet’s position. Interpretation: the reading associates that placement with a theme. Reflection: you consider whether the theme helps you ask a useful question about your experience.

For example, a theme about communication might lead to “When do I find it easiest to speak directly?” This is an example of reading structure, not a personalized chart calculation or a claim about your personality.
